I'm waiting for a roll out at work, so here's the update on the weight loss.
I plateaued super hard last week. All week long I did keto and didn't drop a pound. Monday comes around and I'm down to 198.6. It's not that much lost for a lot of work-- except, was it really all that much work?
Did I work at it? Did I do something hard or sacrifice something important? The answer is flatly no, and I saved probably around $200 in the last three weeks. Granted that money will get eaten on my anniversary this Saturday, but that's where I want it to go. My money should be sent on taking my wife for a big night out, trips, vacations, things for the house...
I'm wearing a shirt from Express. It's a medium, slim. I've never had so many compliments in my life on any piece of clothing. I'm also wearing size 34 pants today. Spending money on clothes that make me proud of my progress sure feels better than sitting in the line at McDicks while they get my order wrong and don't even have root beer.
Is this post a circlejerk? It's text book jerking, but the reason I felt like I should write it is as a silent counter to that idiotic phrase "I'd rather be fat and happy." You guys aren't happy, but I am.
